This product was so cheap that i had my doubt that it would work as you usually get what you pay for, but I was wrong. It really started to kick in after 2 days but i felt the effects after the first two pills. Good for people who work night shift as the daytime sleep pattern often mucks about with your seretonon levels.

I have found this to be very effective in calming nervous tension, helping with sound sleep, and helps stop runaway anxious thought patterns. It's a tonic. Doesn't make me drowsy. Great stuff.

I would like to say how much the product BioBalance 5-HTP has helped my 14 year old daughter, she has autism and suffers rather bad anxiety, since she has been taking this suppliment her anxiety levels are at a much lower level, I have also reccomended this product to 4 other people and they have all found it to be very successful.

I finally finished my first bottle. It doesn't help me sleep at all but rather gives me restless legs. However, it helps with the mood swing during my period. I usually take the NFS 5-HTP Serotonin Manager but when I saw the price of this one I couldn't resist trying it. I didn't get the same results as I enjoyed with the NFS 5-HTP so I'll be sticking to that one.

The first night I took 2 pills and was too much for me. They certainly relax you and do induce sleep.I felt like I was lying there and couldn't move. I took one pill the next time and that was enough for me. I do find they make you dream though and so wake feeling a bit washed out in the brain from all the sleep dream activity.

I started taking this product for monthly moodiness, and it has helped with that. I have found that a short brisk walk first thing in the morning alleviates any drowsiness. But the real result is with my partner who has been on and off anti-depresants. He's started taking 5-HTP and won't go back to the AD's now. Yay!

I have been using this product for 3 years and have excellent results. Tried a few others with not so good effect. Gives me effective sleep, rest and fresh feeling in the morning. Use it with Magnesium Complete, as I have deficiency. I like the dosage, as when I have had a "bad day" I can take 2 tabs and count on a full, healthy, no side effects 7-hour sleep. I've only been taking this product for 2 nights (so really too early for a good review), so far it has made no difference to my sleep problems (I'm still awake at 1.30am!) I have noticed that I have a very bad headache after waking with only a couple of hours sleep. I will finish the bottle and do another review at that time. After 6 months of sleepless nights I'm determined to find a solution!!!

This product is just enough to take the edge off, and promote a gentle night's sleep, without any unwanted side effects. As someone with Multiple Sclerosis, it's not often I find a product that makes me relaxed, while still feeling completely in control. I have found it best to take two pills every evening. It helps me sleep more consistently, and I awake feeling considerably less frazzled.
