CMD Concentrated Mineral Drops is a dietary supplement formulated by nature for greater bio electric health & body mineral balancing. Suitable for regular or sodium restricted diets and so concentrated that 40 drops (1/2 teaspoon) equals the mineral content of 1/2 cup sea water with 99% sodium removed.
CMD originates from the isolated waters of the north arm of the Great Salt Lake, Utah, USA. The Great Salt Lake itself covers some 6,000 square kilometres and represents a terminal collection of the rivers and streams. This drainage system covers an area of 90,000 square kilometres of the Rocky Mountains.
The rocks and soils that comprise the drainage basin represent all the major lithologies - igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary - and cover the entire time span of the Geological Record - from Pre Cambrian to Recent. Consequently the waters of the Great Salt Lake contain within them - rather like the Sea itself - in a dissolved ionic form, all the elements present in the Periodic Table
To obtain CMD the brine of the Great Salt Lake is concentrated further in evaporation ponds to dramatically increase the concentration of dissolved elements. As a result of exposure to the natural elements of the sun, wind, rain and frost, 98% of the water originally placed into the ponds is evaporated and 99.5% of the Sodium Chloride is removed via natural precipitation as the water becomes a super saturated solution.

Plus the following in naturally occurring varying trace amounts:
As a Dietary Supplement: Take 20-40 drops, once or twice daily. Alternatively, 1 drop per 3kg of body weight, halve the total amount and consume morning and evening with meals, or as recommended by a Health Professional.
Mix with any juice or food at mealtimes to mask the concentrated mineral flavour, or take straight, followed with a glass of juice or water.
Increased dosages maybe taken if directed by a qualified Health Professional.
Larger amounts may have a laxative effect.
Improve the flavour of reverse osmosis, de-ionized, or distilled water: Add 20-40 drops 4 litres of distilled water, or to taste, to get the flavour of expensive mineral water while adding a complete, balanced spectrum of low sodium minerals and trace minerals. At 20 drops, (1/4 teaspoon) per 4 litres, 60ml will re-mineralize 190 litres.

I'm happy with this product. A broad range of trace elements. The taste is strong; but im now used to washing a dose down with a couple mouthfuls of water, or follow it with food. Added to the water i drink the flavour is more rounded and satisfying.
