A high dietary intake of dietary Vitamin C has been shown to support the function of the macular area of the retina and therefore support eye health and vision.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that works synergistically in the body to help combat free radical build-up and prevent against free oxidative damage. Zinc has been shown to be beneficial in maintaining optimum healthy vision. Copper is essential for zinc absorption and utilisation in the body. Selenium is an antioxidant mineral and an important mineral in the lens of the human eye.
Lutein and Zeaxanthin are yellow-orange carotenoids present in significant amounts in the macula of the retina in the eye. Lutein supplementation may support optimum macular pigment density and maintain healthy function of the macula.
Each Capsule Contains:
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 250mg
Vitamin E (as d-alpha-tocopheryl succinate) 33.5mg
Copper (from copper gluconate) 500mcg
Selenium (from L-selenomethionine) 20mcg
Zinc (from zinc amino acid chelate) 7.5mg
Lutein esters* 6mg
Zeaxanthin esters* 309mcg
*contained in a base of Xangold 10%
Also contains: Magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose.
No added: Gluten, dairy, yeast, artificial colours or preservatives.
Adults take 1 capsule twice daily or as directed.

Two years ago , diagnosed with AMD (wet) I began monthly Avastin injections, not for improvement but to stop deterioration. Recently, having read about Lutein, I began taking this product. Within a couple of week I was able to thread a needle, something I have not been able to do for 2 years. I am now happily returning to craft work.
