Efamol Efalex Oil is a patented formulation beneficial for the maintenance of normal eye and brain function throughout life. Efalex is a rich natural source of fatty acids which maintain a healthy immune system and general well-being. Efalex Oil may also help calmness, attention span and learning alertness.

The importance of adequate supplies of long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPs) in early life for brain and visual development is well established. These nutrients remain important throughout life, especially during growth phases. It appears a common biological link exists for conditions such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and AD(H)D which is related to an inborn error of metabolism affecting the conversion of essential fatty acids into LCPs. This leads to a deficiency of LCPs, which are required for incorporation into membranes, particularly those of the brain, nerve and eye tissues.

Scientific trials using Efalex, a patented combination of DHA rich tuna oil, Efamol evening primrose oil, vitamin E and thyme oil (two well-established antioxidants), have shown great benefit for supporting normal clarity, focus, concentration and coordination.

Efalex is a clinically studied, high DHA fatty acid product that has been shown to help with symptoms of poor concentration, coordination and attention in both children and adults.

Ingredients

Each 5ml teaspoon contains:

High DHA Fish oil 640mg (providing 140mg DHA, 35mg EPA)

Rigel evening primrose oil 213mg (providing 25mg GLA)

Vitamin E 10mg

Thyme oil 500mcg

High Omega-9 Sunflower oil

Lemon oil

Natural lime oil flavour

Directions

Adults and children five years and over: Take 2 teaspoons (10ml) daily with food.

Children 2-4 years: Take 1 teaspoon (5ml) daily with food.

When using Efalex Oil for the first time double the daily dose for an initial 12 weeks.

Have used this product off and on over the years, seems to help with eyesight and concentration for me and my toddler was less distracted while taking it but as it says on the bottle, it takes a while to get into the cells enough to feel a difference. Great taste and doesn't come back up again all day like other oils I've tried. Really helpful for my eczema; it's less itchy and flares up less when consistently taking Efalex. Highly recommended!

We've been using this product for some time for our youngest who's on the Autistic spectrum. Before taking it he was grumpy and had no speech; after about 3 months on it he was a much sunnier child and his speech eventually came through as well. This is the only one he'll take, we put it in his juice. I definitely recommend it.
