Greenridge Astraforte is a unique formulation of three natural herbal extracts, which are balanced and formulated according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to be most effective.
Greenridge AstraForte was developed to meet the needs of those people whose immune system reserves have become depleted, and specifically for people who are suffering from persistent or repetitive illness, particularly of the upper respiratory tract. Potential causes of a distributed immunity vary from simple recurrent infections like cold & flu, through to more serious things like Glandula Fever, Ross River Fever, and even Hepatitis, HIV-AIDS or cancer. Immune dysfunction can also be triggered by physical trauma, certain drugs, chemotherapy, psychological stress or develop gradually without an obvious "trigger" event.
It follows that if the immune system has depleted reserves, a stimulant like Echinacea cannot work effectively. It is therefore necessary to restore the immune system's competency and power, so Echinacea can work again. These explains why some people suffering recurrent infections do not respond well to Echinacea. These people must have their immune system reserves restored before immune stimulation is possible.

What does it do?
Greenridge AstraForte supports the immune system. Astragalus has a tradition of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a general tonic and to support healthy immune function. May reduce the severity and duration of colds.
Each 2.5mL contains:
Extracts equiv. to dry:
Astragalus membranaceus root 1000mg
Ganoderma lucidum (Reishi Mushroom) fruiting body 500mg
Ligustrum lucidum (Privet) fruit 500mg
Contains Enthanol 162µL/mL
Naturally flavoured with Orange
Adults - take 2.5mL three times daily for deep-seated conditions or 2.5mL twice daily as a general tonic, in a small quantity of water or juice.
Not suitable for children under 2 years.
Do not take if receiving immunosuppressant medication.
In accordance with general medical practice, this product should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
Astragalus is considered a ‘warming’ herb, therefore it is not recommended if a fever is present. An Echinacea based product would be better suited.
Do not use this product if you have a known allergy to Reishi Mushroom, mould or fungi.
In rare cases, skin reactions may occur.
Seek medical advice before use.
Astragalus may cause hypotension (low blood pressure) in some people.
