Healtheries Chewable Vitamin C with Echinacea tablets contain a buffered and stomach friendly vitamin C blend of ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate. Combined with the immune enhancing herb Echinacea purpurea, this product helps to build resistance against bacterial, viral, and fungal infections, and is suitable for all the family.
As vitamin C is a water soluble nutrient, it is easily lost via urination and perspiration three to four hours after ingestion. Regular dosage of supplementary vitamin C assists with a variety of health problems.
Helps: as a natural immune boost; to assist in preventing colds, influenza , sore throats, sinusitis; to help combat chronic viral, bacterial, yeast and fungal infections; to enhance wound healing , and improve skin conditions, e.g. pimples, acne, athletes foot, thrush, boils, and cold sores; to assist in reducing mouth ulcers and gingivitis.

ECHINACEA
-
Echinacea is commonly known as Cone flower and originally grew wild in the western plains of the USA where numerous American Indian tribes considered it a panacea for all ills. Recent scientific documentation of its immune enhancing effects are validating its benefits.

-
Chewable Vitamin C and Echinacea is not recommended for diabetics as it contains sugar. We suggest replacement with Healtheries Odourless Garlic, Vitamin C and Zinc with Echinacea and Olive Leaf.
-
Those who are allergic to flowers of the daisy family should not take echinacea.
-
Echinacea can be taken for up to eight weeks continually, this should be followed by a "rest" period (no Echinacea use) for at least one week or more. Otherwise, Echinacea can tend to over-stimulate the immune system, which is undesirable during periods of low-infection risk, eg. summer.
-
Those on medications should check with their health professional before taking.
Adverse effects:
-
Diarrhoea, skin rash, and frequency of urination may occur with excessive doses of vitamin C. Reduction of dose will stop these effects.
-
Allergies and sensitivities to echinacea can cause wheezing, skin rash, and diarrhoea.
Adults: Take 1 to 4 tablets daily.
Children 3 years & over: Take 1 to 2 tablets daily.
Or as directed.
