Herb Valley deodorants are suitable for most people and particularly those who wish to avoid aluminium and the astringent action of anti-perspirants.
This Herb Valley deodorant is aluminium and paraben free. While the active ingredients act to reduce odour causing bacteria, the combination of essential oils and fragrances provide long term and effective management of odour for both men and women.
Our deodorants have two main active ingredients:
- Farnesol - a naturally extracted deodorising agent.
- Witch Hazel - a mild astringent.
Why use Aluminium Free deodorants?
Aluminium chlorohydrate is a common ingredient in most deodorants and anti-perspirants. Although aluminium itself is widely distributed in the natural environment, it can be very toxic to our bodies in its synthetically extracted soluble form. Research has shown that Aluminium is absorbed and accumulated in the body. It finds its way into our bodies through many cosmetics, popular antacids, over the counter drugs used for inflammation and pain, baking ingredients, cookware, fluoridated tap water, and of course most deodorants.
Herb Valley Aluminium Free Natural Deodorants and Anti-Perspirants are herbal based and contain native Australian herbal fragrances and oils such as eucalyptus, honeysuckle, wattle, tea tree and wildflower.
Our deodorants have two main active ingredients - farnesol and witch hazel. Farnesol is a naturally extracted deodorising agent while witch hazel has a long history in complimentary medicines and acts as a mild astringent.
Our anti-perspirants use the natural astringent properties of their ingredients plus they have added Zinc (Zinc Phenosulphonate) which effectively reduces the rate of perspiration.
NB: we've had feedback from one customer that this product caused 'staining' to their clothes. Please use with caution, bearing this in mind.
Active Ingredients:
Aqua (water), alcohol, Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) extract, polysorbate 20, glycerin, Chondrus crispus, fragrance, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) leaf oil, farnesol, xanthan gum, benzyl alcohol, salicylic acid, sorbic acid.
