Nutra-Life Thyro Guard is a nutritional supplement designed to help maintain the health of the thyroid gland by providing special nutrients involved in the formation of specific thyroid hormones. Specially indicated for mildly under-active thyroid conditions associated with low energy, changes in mood, poor cognition and weight gain.
Beneficial for healthy thyroid function; healthy energy levels; mood and cognition; and stress and symptoms associated with premenstrual tension including tearfulness, irritability and fatigue.

Each tablet provides 500mg of tyrosine plus iodine for healthy thyroid function. Also provides B-complex vitamins, magnesium, zinc which are also required by the body to form thyroid hormones.

Aspartic Acid 200mg
Magnesium (as Aminio Acid Chelate) 20mg
Potassium (as Aspartate) 20mg
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride Equiv. Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) 8.3mg
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) 25mg
Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) 15mg
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 25ug
Iodine (from Potassium Iodide) 150ug
Copper (as Gluconate) 1mg

Contra-indications:
- Patients on prescription medicines, including warfarin, should consult their doctor before using this product
- Not suitable for patients with an over-active thyroid (hyperthyroid) or goitre where additional iodine may cause an increase in symptoms
- Do not use together with thyroid hormone medicines including thyroxine without medical advice
- Do not use together with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRIs) medicines
- Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding without medical advice
