MSM is a naturally occurring sulphur compound derived from tree bark. Sulphur is essential for normal functioning of the body’s growth and repair mechanisms. Sulphur is especially important to the cellular structure of hair, nails, skin, (having a role in the formation of keratin) and connective tissues (being important in the formation of collagen, B vitamins and amino acids). Sulphur also helps support immune system function.
Nutritionally supporting tissues with additional sulphur in the form of safe, natural and bioavailable MSM may help bring back some normal healthy bounce, elasticity and resilience to your connective tissues including cartilage, ligaments, tendons, vascular tissues, skin, hair and nails.

Precautions:
None known. It should be noted, however, that although MSM has never been scientifically tested to verify any anti-coagulant properties, clinical observations indicate it may have a blood-thinning effect. Thus, anyone taking high doses of aspirin or blood-thinning drugs such as Warfarin or Heparin should exercise caution when using MSM, and intensive dosages should be avoided. MSM has a completely different molecular structure to sulpha drugs and does not cause allergic reactions in people with sulpha drug allergies. Always ask your product supplier or health professional if there are any specific precautions regarding your use of this or any supplement.
