Thompson’s Acidophilus Plus provides a safe and effective means of restoring and maintaining a healthy balance of intestinal flora. It is a milk-free formulation of not less than 500 million live organisms of Lactobacillus Acidophilus per capsule in a hypoallergenic base. As yeast infections can be exacerbated by some commonly used tabletting aids, Acidophilus Plus uses psyllium dietary fibre as a base.

Thompson’s Acidophilus Plus works to recolonise the bowel with healthy intestinal flora, help to restore balance and relieve a wide range of gastro-intestinal symptoms such as bloating, flatulence, fullness after eating, diarrhoea and /or constipation. Acidophilus Plus can be used in yeast overgrowth and to aid the growth of healthy bacteria after gastro-intestinal upset.
Acidophilus Plus is ideal for use in children and teenagers, with an easy opening capsule that allows the contents to be added to food and drink. This product is safe for use in pregnancy.
