Thompson's Extra B + C is a high potency, balanced B-complex with 500mg of non-acid Vitamin C. The Vitamin B family is synergistic, working together to support many body functions. Their partnership with Vitamin C is also synergistic, as Vitamin C enhances the effect of the B group Vitamins.
The B complex family plays an important role in the conversion of carbohydrates into glucose to supply the body with energy. They aid in the metabolism of fats and proteins and are essential for the maintenance of muscle tone in the gastrointestinal tract, for liver function and the health of the eyes, mouth, skin and hair.
They are beneficial in the treatment of many ailments and their effectiveness in combating fatigue, tiredness and exhaustion is well known. The B complex range of vitamins and vitamin C are involved in feeding and supporting the adrenal glands that produce adrenal hormones, helping us deal with stressful situations. I find this product one of the best. I notice if not taken for a few days that my energy levels lower and stress builds up. I have not even been sick in the time I have taken it and warded off illness my daughter and husband suffered. They are now taking it too!
