Arataki Honey

Arataki Honey was established in 1944 and is run in two parts. The Hawke's Bay Division produces and packs honey for the local and export market, provides local pollination services and is the site of the Arataki Honey Visitors Centre. The Rotorua Division specialises in live bee exports, queen bees, packing honey and providing pollination services.
Honey is healthy and delicious, and there’s no better place to get yours than Arataki. And if you’re in the neighbourhood come and see us at our Visitor Centre in Hawke’s Bay. Taste some honey, meet the bees, learn how honey is made - it’s a full sensory experience and it’s free!

From hive to honey pot, every step of the way, quality and traceability are key to making New Zealand’s finest honeys.

I bought this Arataki manuka lozenges with other brand products. Different people have different tastes in manuka lozenges. Some one loves sweet lozenges, some one loves so cool one. I like this manuka lozenges ever so much because my preference is so cool lozenges!

  • Cured leg ulcer

    star

GOt this for my =95 year old dad who had a varicose leg ulcer. Was small but growing and doctor was prescribing really heavy drugs. Decided to try this for three days before doing the drugs. In those three days this chronic condition started noticably healing. A week later wounds now looked like grazes. Two weeks later gone. Honey twice a day covered with light bandage. If I hadn't seen it would hardly have believed it.

Got onto manuka honey after vet prescribed it for a particulalry nasty hat spot on our dog. Heat spot cleared up in 48 hours. Have to say that was a different strength manuka honey - but it made me a believer rather than a sceptic. Seeing is believing.

The 15+ is a great product - expensive apparently (and would be if just used for toast in the morning) but a fraction of the cost of seeing medical specialists.
