HealthPost's 'Give Well' Donation Programme

At HealthPost we believe that the wellness of the individual is always connected to the health of the broader community and the natural environment. It is not enough to live well: we also need to give well. Since 2009 HealthPost has given $337,342 and counting, to vital charities (see below).

We'll donate up to $2.00 for every completed web order

You pay nothing extra. All donations are made from  HealthPost’s operating revenue. All you need to do is check the box next to your preferred charity. We keep a tally and publish our monthly and quarterly donations on this page - see below.  Thank you for helping us make a difference!

Along with our regular charities you can chose from a rotating Charity of the Month, which gives us a chance to spread our support more widely.  If you have a favourite registered charity you’d like us to consider please encourage the organisation to fill out our online Charity Application form.

Charity of the Month - July: Perinatal Mental Health New Zealand Trust

The PMHNZ is a national trust set up to provide good quality information, education and networking to raise awareness for perinatal mood disorders in NZ. At least 1 in 5 families will experience and suffer from anxiety and depression around the 2-3 years of childbirth and early parenthood. Around 40% of mums who suffer postnatal depression will have suffered antenatal anxiety and depression, often unrecognized. Early intervention could have lessened the effects. Our vision is to improve outcomes for NZ families and whanau affected by mental illness related to pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood.

The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ

Preventing blindness throughout the Pacific.
The Fred Hollows Foundation carries on the work of a very special New Zealander, Professor Fred Hollows.  Fred was an internationally acclaimed eye surgeon who championed the right of all people to high quality and affordable eye care.  In the past twenty years, The Fred Hollows Foundation has restored sight to over one million people in some of the world’s poorest countries, often with a 20 minute operation costing as little as $25. We are committed to the fundamental right of health for all and are independent, politically unaligned and secular.

Neutralising your parcel's carbon footprint.
At HealthPost we are committed to accurately measuring our carbon footprint, reducing and off-setting the carbon emissions produced by our deliveries and daily operations, and minimising our impact on the environment wherever possible. We offset our carbon through the highly regarded NZ-based provider Airshed. We’ve also partnered with Milnthorpe Park Scenic Reserve & Re-Forestation Project, and Golden Bay Coast Care, to do annual tree plantings in our local area. We’ve already planted more than 2000 trees in addition to our official carbon offsetting – learn more here.
