BioBalance Certified Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is a rich source of vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre. It is high in lauric acid – a rare medium chain fatty acid found in human breast milk – giving it antimicrobial and immune supporting properties.
Virgin Coconut Oil is known as nature’s miracle oil, and for good reason. The peoples of Asia, Africa, South America and the Pacific have always used coconut medicinally, and recent scientific research affirms its many health benefits.
Coconut oil is comprised of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs), whereas most vegetable and seed oils are made of long-chain fatty acids. I've replaced all my cooking oils with this Coconut oil as not only is it healthy, but the taste is very subtle and doesn't change the taste of my recipes. It also makes a nice dressing if you heat the oil a little, add some lemon juice, and a sprinkling of sesame seeds (add a sprinkling of chilli flakes too for hotter tastes). I have been taking a teaspoon of this oil every morning and my dry skin and digestion have both improved. It really is a wonderful versatile product.

The oil is ok, but i'm afraid the taste is too subtle for me. I quite like the coconuty flavour and this one seems to lack. I used to use Ceres Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, it had a better taste for me.

Love this coconut oil! It does not have a really strong overwhelming smell like some other coconut oils I have tried. I have made the raw chocolate icing from the Rawtarian using it, and plan to adapt the recipe and make it into coconut rough!!!

Love this coconut oil. I use it for cooking, eating of the spoon, as a facial cleanser and in hot drinks. Because it has a wide mouth it is easy to get the last of the oil out of the jar.

The texture of this oil is lovely and I mix it into my porridge in the morning directly. I love the big glass jar for use afterwards. The taste seems slightly less rich and more fermented than the previous brand I was using which I am still unsure about.
