Annies Natural Sweet contains 100% Xylitol. Xylitol is a natural Sweetener that looks and tastes like sugar but is not artificial. Xylitol is found in small quantities in many plants and fruits and is extracted from corn husk.

Use it where sugar is normally used and one for one sugar with your recipes. It dissolves and is heat stable for cooking and hot drinks.

It can be used by all ages and is recommended for infants and pregnant mums. There is no recommended daily intake - simply use it as a sweetener, but note that excessive use may cause a laxitive effect.

A great product and a great price. We buy the 2 kilo amount and use it as a sugar substitute. It's great as it doesn't produce energy swing (& cravings) as it absorbs into the body slowly. And it's still yummy for having a sweet fix!

Customer rating:

Usually, when manufacturers sell sugar substitutes they say it looks and tastes like sugar. You buy it and there's a horrible aftertaste, most UNlike sugar. This is not the case with Xylitol. In my experience it has no unpleasant aftertaste and can be used in almost all ways you would use sugar. It doesn't contribute to tooth decay or adversely affect diabetics.

I wouldn't use anything else as a substitute for sugar. You actually need less xylitol than sugar for sweetness, leaves no after taste and has no adverse dietary side effects. Highly recommend!

I have been using this product for more than 5 years. Usually I buy 2 kg pack (unfortunately not always available)and use for all cooking needs, including baking. Just a great healthy sugar substitute!
