Children's Development Supplements

As most children's diets are relatively low in omega 3 oils, it is important to use supplements. Fish oils contain significant amounts of two omega 3 fatty acids, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docasahexaenoic acid). Check out the Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids article.

Product Reviews

  • Great product!

This is the only fish oil product that my son loves. He has been taking this product for a while now I have seen the improvement in his behavior. I highly recommend this product.

  • Passed the exacting standards of my 9yr old

Many kids fish oils are DHA heavy however a lot of info suggests having a balance that is 3:1 (or even 2:1) EPA to DHA. Finally a product that fits the bill! This passed the smell and taste testing of my 9yr old son (and even the 14yr old). In fact he pleaded for another one. His only wish was that they made them in a fish shape :-) Affordable pricing too.

  • It is a miracle worker

I have a 32 year old son that has ADHD/Autism, when he was much younger (9 years old) I used to give him Efalex until he was 16 years old.. it worked wonders with him !! He lives independently in his own apartment and works.. there are OFF days but we are now going back to retaking the Efamol to see if this will help him further... will write on his progress.. to all those parents thinking about giving Efalex to your child I would advise you to try it for 3 months.. I recommend it and I have recommended it to many families with children suffering from ADHD and it helped them as well. Good Luck
