Tea Tree Oil Benefits

Tea tree oil is made from the leaves of the tea tree, which is native to Australia. It is said Captain Cook brewed some leaves from the tree and thus named it the ‘tea’ tree.

Pure tea tree oil has many medicinal properties for topical use such as being antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. This practical oil is used in healing creams, aromatherapy and with beauty and personal care products - which you can browse in our selection above.

Tea tree oil has been used as a natural insect repellent, for soothing congestion with steam inhalation, in natural shampoos for scalp problems and also for the treatment of acne scars.

  • Great Toner

I've been using this for a few months now and it's much better than other toners I've used. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and supple. Also gives my skin a smooth, dewy look. Gets rid of the built up oil and dirt left on your face even after washing your face.

  • Perfect

I have been using this oil for around 6 months and now I wouldn't be without it. It's great as another reviewer has mentioned for cleaning bathrooms, kitchens etc.. And I also add a few drops in my mop bucket. The smell just smells clean, and it's great to be able to clean up without getting headaches from the fumes of store bought cleaning products. But.... The best thing for me about this oil is that it's really really useful in the medicine box. I have 5 children so I see my fair share of scraped knees and bee stings but this oil is fantastic particularly with bee stings. I was skeptical until I tried it but within a couple of minutes of rubbing a drop into a bee sting, my toddler had stopped crying. My 7 year old also got a bee sting so I rubbed a drop onto her sting and the same thing happened again. Within a couple of minutes she had stopped crying and she said that the 'stinging' had stopped completely and it also helped to stop any swelling. Now every time one of my children gets a cut or sting or insect bite they ask for the 'magic oil'. This is truly a wonderful oil and I have recommended it countless times to friends.
