Description

Nelson Honey’s Royal Nectar Bee Venom Face Mask is formulated for a rapid anti-ageing effect. A soothing blend of waxes and oils, Royal Nectar’s face mask includes two products from New Zealand - Manuka honey and bee venom.

It is the bee venom that will gently stimulate your facial muscles to tighten and firm the skin, reducing the effects of your frown and laughter lines.

A face mask containing bee venom recently came to worldwide attention as reportedly having being used by Kate Middleton as part of her wedding preparations. English "Beautician-To-The-Stars" Deborah Mitchell developed a face mask cream using one of Nelson Honey's Nectar Ease products, and has reportedly also used this "natural alternative to botox" on other of her famous clients including Gwyneth Paltrow and Danni Minogue.

There has been so much buzz surrounding this that Nelson Honey have now developed their own Bee Venom face products, the Royal Nectar Face Mask and Moisturising Face Lift.

While the Moisturising Face Lift contains more Bee Venom, the Face Mask contains an ingredient called Easyliance, which tightens and firms the muscles.

Ingredients

Aqua, Rose water, Lannett wax, Tocopherol, Beeswax, Avocado Oil, Apricot Kernel, Easyliance, Rosehip, Manuka Honey, Evening Primrose oil, Optiphen, Elysese Cocoa Butter, Tixican, Marshmallow extract, Lavender, Bee Venom.

Contains no Parabens.

Precautions

Some people can have severe allergic reactions to bee products, and should therefore seek medical advice before using this product.

Directions

Apply sparingly to cleansed skin, wash off after 20 minutes. Then apply your favourite moisturiser if you wish.

Nelson Honey suggest application using a clean spatula.

A test patch application is recommended for first use.

They recommend use from twice a week, up to twice a day, whichever suits.

It's best to keep this product in a cool, dark place to prolong shelf life.

The shelf life of this product is 3 years after manufacture.

I'm delighted with this product. I've been using it now for about three weeks, and have noticed a definite improvement in the texture of my skin. I noticed within a week that quite deep wrinkles had softened. Love the scent of it too!

I have been using this product for 7 days and the first couple of days didnt notice much, but now i find that i feel a huge tightening effect and that the crows feet around my eyes are already 80% reduced!! Im 50 so thats saying something!! What a miracle!!!

I know it is only early days, but I tried the mask out this morning and no tingling or tightening of skin. Perhaps my skin is as tought as nails? Hence the low rating. I will however continue as directed.

I've been using this product for a month. I have fine lines. The first day i used this cream i noticed that my skin felt stimulated all day. I have started putting less on my face, but think that it really does make my face look and feel better. It's a daily mask, but i've found that if i leave it every other day, it keeps its lift until my next application. No break outs either, manuka honey and other goodies like rosehip oil and evening primrose oil in it probably help with this.

I have been using the Face Mask and Moisturiser for several months now and am disappointed I can not see any difference in my wrinkles at all. I do feel a slight tingle at times when it has been applied. What a shame, I had such high expectations.

I have been using Royal Nectar Original Face Mask everyday for a week. After using ,my skin feels hydrated and soft. It is a good moisturizing mask, but not a good anti-aging mask. Maybe I should keep using to see if it does make my face tight.

The hype with this product I think was over the top. I have used both the mask and the moisturizing cream - I have not noticed any tingling or tightening of the skin. Maybe I need to put a thick layer or something. Am disappointed. Maybe one has to use this for years to see the effect. Not sure if there is any difference between the mask and the face moisturiser either.

I use the mask as a night cream and do not wash it off. Leaves skin nice and moisturised and have noticed an improvement in fine lines. Combine with the moisturising face lift cream in the morning. Great product and a great price.

Update: I didn't mention in my last review that i put the cream on quite thickly, so that it looks like i am wearing a white mask! Im sure this is the secret to its magic, (for quite deep wrinkles anyway lol!) as Im now getting comments on how wonderful my skin is looking! My friends are now buying it too!
