Q. Is this sun cream suitable for young babies? I have a 2 month old who loves spending time in the sun and needs some protection.

Q. Why do you only offer SPF25?
Our sun lotions offer around 96% coverage from UVB rays and a factor 50 would only offer 2% more in coverage. However the SPF number only relates to UVB rays, not UVA, and sun lotion needs to be re-applied regularly to maintain protection from both.
The danger in giving a higher SPF factor gives false confidence to stay out in the sun for longer periods. The UVA rays have a deeper effect in the skin cells and you cannot see the damage this is causing (the UVB rays are the ones that cause the burning on the surface of the skin).
We therefore recommend that you re-apply sun lotion every couple of hours to maintain protection against both UVA & UVB rays.
Q. Are these sun lotions free from peanuts/nuts or their derivatives?
Yes our sun lotions are free from nut and nut derived ingredients.
Q. Are any of your suncreams suitable for a child with egg, dairy and nut allergy?
Neither of our children’s sun lotions contain egg, dairy or nuts.

Apply liberally half an hour before sun exposure. Re-apply frequently and always after swimming.
Limit sun exposure and cover exposed areas.
Do not stay in the sun too long, even when using a sunscreen product.

I just have to say how amazed I am with your products. I am a doting, first time grandmother of gorgeous little Harry, now aged 11months. From a couple of months old, he suffered from skin problems on his face, hands, feet etc. My daughter was visiting the G.P. regularly, but the various creams and lotions seemed to make it worse. Also, in this sunny weather we've been having - sun creams really made his skin flare up. So I did a little on-line research and found your site. I ordered some products - my daughter has been using them for about a month now - and we particularly like the sun cream and baby salve. Within days Harry's skin was so much better - it has now been clear for 3 weeks - previously unheard of - especially in this heatwave. We are so relieved that our gorgeous little boy is no longer uncomfortable and scratching, but now healthy, happy and glowing - if I could give you a medal I would!!!!!

"We have been using your Organic Suncreams for our family for a few years now. They are more expensive than the non-organic suncreams, but well worth it not having to worry about what's in the suncream. We went on holiday with family and friends in May (2006).
One family there had a Special Needs (Red head) toddler, who had very sensitive skin. They had tried many various suncreams but they all made his skin suffer terribly. However, despite our Organic Suncream being ridiculed (very prejudicially) by another adult of the group, they thought they'd try the Organic one.
