Description

For best results apply to all areas of exposed skin and re-apply after 15 minutes; then every hour or as required.

Directions

Apply liberally to all exposed areas of skin. Reapply after 10-15 minutes then thereafter as required - typically hourly.

Precautions

Use with caution around eyes. Avoid broken skin. For external use only. Does not contain sunscreen.

We've enjoyed the Tui Bug Balm since our visit to NZ a few years ago, purchased a 50 gm jar there. My brother and I resently hiked Mt. St. Helens volcano blast zone and found your bug balm very effective, safer and better smelling than "Deet" or "6-12" brands we've tried against misquitoes, biting flies and "no-see-ums." This is a wonderful product, it's such a nice moisturiser, effectively repels bugs and smells surprisingly pleasant to humans!

Yes, it works but has a very strong lemony smell. Several washings of hands still didn't get rid of it! Good thing is you don't need to use much (certainly doesn't need to be applied as much as directions say), bad thing is that it doesn't absorb so well so smell/wax will rub off onto your furnishings, clothes if you're not careful.
