The oil helps back pain that is the result of a nerve problem, for example a spinal problem, disc problem, where a back nerve is being pinched, or pressure on the nerve etc. For this reason, Hypericum is called the Arnica of the nerves.
Where back pain is caused by strained muscles, Weleda Arnica Massage Oil is more effective.
Each 1gm Contains:
Extract equiv. fresh flower:
Hypericum perforatum 190mg
Essential oils:
Lavender 25mg
Siam Benzoin and/or Sumatra Benzoin 18.5mg
Absolue Labdanium 5mg
Rose 1.5mg
In an almond and sesame oil base.
Contains no antioxidants or preservatives.
Massage into the affected area 3-4 times daily in the acute stage, then 1-2 times daily as the condition improves.
Or as directed.
As this product contains no antioxidants or preservatives it should be used within 6 months of opening and stored in a cool dark place (below 30°C) to maintain optimum quality.

Have found this rapidly reduces the nerve pain of carpal tunnel syndrome. Have been able to reduce pain medication to minimal. Addition of krill oil has also helped.
