Weleda Nipple Care Cream is a lightly textured yet rich moisturiser, designed for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This nourishing cream conditions, protects and soothes nipples in preparation for and during breastfeeding. It's completely natural, so there's no need to remove the cream before breastfeeding.
The moisturising properties of Aloe Vera, Marshmallow and natural plant oils soften and care for the nipple, whilst astringent horsetail and nettle tone and condition the skin. Calendula and Chamomile calm, soothe and support the healthy renewal of tender, cracked skin, while precious Rose oil provides a delicate and harmonising fragrance.
Weleda Nipple Care Cream is free from synthetic fragrances, preservatives, parabens and free from petrochemical derivatives, eg. paraffins.

Directions: Throughout the last 6-8 weeks of pregnancy, apply a small amount of cream to the nipple and areola twice daily, to condition the nipples and promote healthy, supple skin in preparation for breastfeeding.
After feeding, gently pat the skin dry or allow the breast to air, then apply a small amount of cream to the nipple and areola to moisturise and protect. Weleda Nipple Care Cream does not need to be removed before breastfeeding.

I found this nipple cream excellent for prevent cracked/grazed nipples. I began applying it on my midwives advice in the last trimester of pregnancy and continued for a few months after baby. I had absolutely no nipple cracking or soreness. It didn't affect my baby, I didnt remove it before feeding & most often it had absorbed into my skin anyway.
