For centuries the rose was favoured among the aromatic plants for its exotic fragrance and harmonising effect on the body and mind. Rose Oil, more precious than gold, remains a key ingredient in quality cosmetics and perfumery, and is especially useful for dry, sensitive and aging skins.
Weleda's luxury Rose body care range was formulated using blends of pure botanical extracts and oils, to nurture and beautify skin. Natural base oils of Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Shea Butter complement the actions of the Rose to nurture, protect, and revitalise skin.

I have fair sensitive skin, with thread veins on my face and have tried any amount of creams/lotion until this, recommended by a Steiner teacher friend in the 1980s. I find it perfect. Smell is exquisite. Absorbs very quickly, leaving supple moisturised skin that lasts all day. Is this an ad?! Well it is my mainstay, and for years. Foundation flows on very well over it. I also find it very good for rough wrinkled gardener's hands... perhaps because it is so quickly absorbed.
