Healtheries Chelated Zinc is a necessary mineral for the healthy functioning of the skin, immune system, and the reproductive system.

Healtheries Chelated Zinc is bound to amino acids (units of protein) by strong covalent bonds that increase bioavailability and absorption. The chelation process occurs naturally in foods, eg. chromium in brewers yeast, calcium in milk, and iron in haemoglobin. In the process of chelation the mineral is transferred from its inorganic state to an organic state, increasing the absorption of that mineral by between 3 and 10 times.
