hi. this product is hard on the stomach The active ingredient causes burning. I experienced this for a while without making the connection. Then i chewed one as i do my oil caps and wow! pepper, and instant burning!. so I stopped and my stomach recovered next day. this product is not good for sensitive stomachs. viki. MANUFACTURER RESPONSE: The Softgels, when taken as per the direction on the bottle (with food), normally have time to get well into the gut before dissolving and releasing the contents. Most people do not experience a sensation from this product. We recommend that you do take the softgel with a large or main meal of the day and with a large glass of water, insuring it gets well into the stomach before dissolving.

Have just started using kolorex and have noticed that i am now not getting as much flatulance as before . I have crohns and have been getting alot of gas, but since using kolorex things have began to settle down with far less flatulance. Great product, will keep using for now.

I developed quite severe stomach pain while taking this. I only took it after a meal as directed. After a week i thought these might have something to do with it. So Stopped taking them and voila, stomach pain gone! MANUFACTUER RESPONSE: It could possibly be an allergy i.e. bovine gelatine (capsule casing), olive oil and possibly the Horopito. We suggest taking with food and/or glass of water for people who are sensitive to spicy/hot foods because the horopito extract (the active) is a hot ingredient (also known in NZ as the pepper plant and is widely used for culinary purposes). If you are in discomfort using the product, we would recommend that you do stop using it and possibly establish if you have any allergies to any of the above ingredients.
