NFS Super Whey Protein is unlike any other whey protein powder. It is a super high specification proprietary blend of mostly Ionic Exchange Whey Protein Isolate along with small amounts of Ultra Filtered Whey Protein.
The protein used in Super Whey Protein Powder contains a higher ratio of BCAA's than other isolates. It is fortified with 5000mg of L-Glutamine and 2000mg of Taurine per serving. L-Glutamine is the most abundant free form amino acid found in muscle tissue and in times of stress (e.g exercise) as much as 1/3rd of the glutamine stored in the muscles can be released into the blood stream.
Supplementing with L-Glutamine can help prevent this. L-Glutamine also helps build and maintain muscle and is very important in maintaining a healthy immune system. Taurine is the second most important amino acid stored in the muscles and is the building block of all other amino acids. Studies have shown that it may reduce protein breakdown by as much as 20%.
