The formula contains malic acid, a naturally occurring, non-toxic organic acid found in fruits and vegetables, especially apples. Malic acid plays an essential part in sugar metabolism and energy production. It also has an oxygen sparing effect by supporting energy production efficiency; this supports optimal tissue oxygenation and nutrient levels for use by muscles and other tissues.

Boswellia, a well known Ayurvedic herb, helps normalise stressed tissues whilst vitamins C and B6 and the mineral chromium support healthy nerve function and sugar metabolism.
