Silica obtained from marine-derived Red Algae Powder (Lithothamnium coralloides) is a source of the natural trace element silicon. Silicon is found in many unrefined grains and in some seafood sources, including mussels. Silicon intake has been positively associated with bone health.
Each Vegetable Capsule Provides:
Silica (from Red Algae Powder [Lithothamnium calcareum]) 54mg
providing 25mg elemental silicon
Also contains: Microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.

A naturopath put me onto Silica a few years ago when I had a gushing eye from a blocked tear duct. I was advised to take 6 a day till the trouble cleared, then slowly reduce to a maintenance dose of 1-2 a day. Within four days I had noticeable improvement and by the 7th day the eye was healed. I was thrilled with this result after many months suffering. I now take 1 a day, and have had no new attacks. I’m grateful to Silica for saving me from ongoing painful surgical interventions.
