Antioxidants are essential to the body because of their role in neutralising potentially dangerous rogue molecules called free-radicals. Free radicals are highly reactive molecules generated, in part, by pollution, cigarette smoke, pesticides, radiation and certain drugs. Because they are volatile they can cause harmful chain reactions which are capable of damaging cells, arteries and genetic material. There is extensive evidence to implicate free radicals in the development of degenerative disease and premature aging.
Thompson’s Antioxidant ACE contains Vitamins and Minerals with proven antioxidant properties such as natural mixed carotenoids and Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Selenium and Zinc.
