Thompson’s Glucos-OMEGA is a new 2 a day formula in an easy-to-swallow soft-gel capsule. 2 capsules per day of Glucos-OMEGA provides Glucosamine at the clinically trialled dosage of 1500mg plus the added advantage of 1000mg of Fish Oil and 2mg of Boron.
Glucosamine: Glucosamine is a naturally occurring compound and a constituent of cartilage. Supplementing with Glucosamine has been shown to alleviate sore joints and impaired mobility. There is also evidence that Glucosamine can, over a longer period, reduce joint narrowing, indicating the slowing of joint deterioration.
Omega 3 Fish Oil: As inflammation often goes hand in hand with joint problems, Glucos-Omega provides the important anti-inflammatory properties of Omega 3 fatty acids.
Boron: For added effectiveness, the trace mineral, Boron, important for bone health, has also been included. In most parts of New Zealand and Australia, the estimated intake of Boron is less than 3 mg per day contributing to the arthritic symptoms seen in many elderly people in the population.
