Vitamin C is key in maintaining connective tissue, helping cholesterol metabolise normally, and aiding the production of cortisol by the adrenal glands. My mum has been taking these chewable pills for years by now. It taste good but very sour. Recent half a year, she's been having a bit of stomach acid problem. So we might change to Ester C for a while and hope it'll be better. (FYI, as a cancer patient, she takes high dose of Vitamin C pills, the rest of us taking one pill a day has no stomach problems)
