  • Just OK

    I like the idea of pea protein as I try to minimise dairy in my diet and don't want a whey protein powder. Be aware if you haven't tried a pea protein powder before there is a distinct flavour to this protein powder which took a bit of getting used to even with the vanilla flavouring. Probably not so great if you mix your protein powder just with water like me. I resorted to using coconut water to mix with to disguise the taste a little. Other than that, no complaints.

  • Great apart from sweet aftertaste

    I tend to make my protein shakes just straight up with water and found this one had a distinct stevia aftertaste - almost too sweet for me. Mixed with other things it wasn't so noticeable. Otherwise a great protein powder.

  • Good for energy

    Maca is wonderful stuff. I take 1 teaspoon a day and notice a big difference in physical energy levels. I'm not sure how this brand compares with others, but I chose a gelatinised maca because I've had thyroid issues and read that raw maca can affect thyroid functioning.
