The simplest way to make a smoothie is to chop up fruit, put it into a base of a water, dairy or nut milk, add some nuts, seeds, oats, or leafy green vegetables, and blend. However, there are many other things you can add to take your smoothie to the next level, often enhancing the flavour in the process. These range from exotic fruits, superfoods and powders, various herbs, protein powders and more.

Fermented foods can add a probiotic boost. Green powders may add nutritional value, particularly where green vegetables are out of season or hard to source. Essential fatty acids such as flaxseed or fish oils can add critical macronutrients lacking in many modern diets.

    Have only just started buying this product after having discovered it in a smoothie during visits to Wellington over the past 3 years. Now enjoying it 3-4 times per week. I add this along with the Natva Sachi Inchi Protein Powder to my smoothies (and sometime a heaped teaspoon of Pic's or Fix & Fog peanut butter) post exercise, or as a meal replacement. It's a great pic-me-up and tastes wonderful.

    An excellent product with a great taste. Considered a whole food, helps with hormone imbalances, increases stamina, endurance and energy.
    Helps handle stress, plus contains calcium, phosphorus, fatty acids, B1 and B12.
    I add this along with the Natava Sacha Inchi (a protein powder) to a smoothie and find it makes a huge difference to my energy levels post exercise.
