Ubiquinol Benefits

Known benefits of taking ubiquinol include improved heart and gum health, slowing down the ageing process and higher energy levels. Ubiquinol will potentially be beneficial in any case of chronic disease due to its strong antioxidant properties. As an antioxidant it can protect genes from age-related changes. It is a critical molecule in the production of energy in cells, particularly in the heart, liver and kidneys, organs which have high energy requirements.

Ubiquinol also functions as an antioxidant capable of regenerating other antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E thereby allowing them to continue counteracting oxidation processes in the body and prevent accelerated ageing. Coenzyme Q10 is particularly indicated in people with poor gum health. Although occurring naturally in the body levels decline with age and with the use of some pharmaceutical medications, namely statins and beta-blockers. Supplementation is strongly advised in these cases. People with cardiovascular problems in general are strongly encouraged to supplement with coenzyme Q10.

Ubiquinol Side Effects

Consult a health professional before taking Ubiquinol if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Congestive heart failure patients who are taking Ubiquinol should not discontinue taking Ubiquinol supplements unless under the supervision of a doctor. Ubiquinol should not be taken with blood thinning medications without the advice of a health professional.

Product Reviews

  • Excellent

    star

I have been taking this for 4 yrs after changing from just the CO-Q10 due to discovering that from the age of 45 the body stops absorbing additional CO-Q10. I used to have a Heart Murmur and mild right sided heart failure. No sign of these conditions on an Echo-cardiogram done 18mths ago. I feel sure that the use of this product has been the reason in improving my heart health.

It was hard for me to check the effect of the Ubiquinol on myself, I add it for general health maintenance. I am 39 years old and this a time to add this antioxidant to my life. I expect to take it courses 3-4 times a year. Next time I'll try the liquid formula that the BioBalance offers and I'll write a review
