Ubiquinol is a form of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) that is ‘fully reduced’, a chemistry term meaning the opposite of ‘oxidised’. This means it has the greatest capacity to be utilised by the body in its many functions including the neutralisation of free radicals in its capacity as an antioxidant. Ubiquinol is the superior form of coenzyme Q10 and the best form to take as a supplement.

Known benefits of taking ubiquinol include improved heart and gum health, slowing down the ageing process and higher energy levels. Ubiquinol will potentially be beneficial in any case of chronic disease due to its strong antioxidant properties. As an antioxidant it can protect genes from age-related changes. It is a critical molecule in the production of energy in cells, particularly in the heart, liver and kidneys, organs which have high energy requirements.
Ubiquinol also functions as an antioxidant capable of regenerating other antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E thereby allowing them to continue counteracting oxidation processes in the body and prevent accelerated ageing. Coenzyme Q10 is particularly indicated in people with poor gum health. Although occurring naturally in the body levels decline with age and with the use of some pharmaceutical medications, namely statins and beta-blockers. Supplementation is strongly advised in these cases. People with cardiovascular problems in general are strongly encouraged to supplement with coenzyme Q10.
Ubiquinol Side Effects
I have recently started to use this product but can already feel changes. I have more energy and feel better.
I was on a cholestrol lowering drug and was having severe muscle aches, which is why I started using this product.I have been using it for 10 months and I am 70% better than I was,I am hoping I will continue to improve.
Because I suffer chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, every 3-3 1/2 years it trips over to haemolytic anaemia. The high dose prednisone to stop this, causes me to have bouts of distress/anxiety, but taking ubiquinol made a BIG difference and is a great mental calmer. I recommend ubiquinol. Thank you. Lorna
