Weleda Calcium Compound 1 & 2 encourages healthy bone and tooth formation in young children and during pregnancy, by improving calcium metabolism and absorption.
The developing child requires a large amount of calcium, which it draws from the mother. Unless she has sufficient intake of this mineral there will be a loss of calcium from her bones and her teeth. Calcium is not easily absorbed by the body and Weleda have developed two products, Calcium Compound 1 & Calcium Compound 2, which stimulate the calcium metabolism of the body and promote calcium absorption.
The mother takes this remedy while pregnant, and it is given to children during the first few years of life.
Calcium Compound 1
Each Tablet Contains:
Apatite 5x 20mg
Curcurbita flower 2x 20mg
In a lactose base.
Calcium Compound 2
Each Tablet Contains:
Conchae 10mg
Quercus decoct. 3x 20mg
In a lactose base.
Children up to 12 years: Take 1 tablet (crush for babies).
12 years and up: Take 2 tablets.
Take Compound 1 before or with breakfast, take Compound 2 before or with dinner.
