These taste terrible and are not at all suitable for children, unless they really like the flavour of mackeral/sardines/anchovies OR unless they can happily swallow the fish-shaped capsule. They are meant to be butterscotch flavour, but they are absolutely foul tasting. My son refused to eat his so I tried them and almost choked. If you want an affordable, good quality, highly palateable fish oil for adults and children, try the reflux-free or lemon flavoured capsules by MicroGenics.

My kids 3yr and 1yr absolutely love these and ask for their "fishies" daily. They do have a fishy taste......but they are fish oil!

Absolutely foul tasting! Not butterscotch flavoured! ok for kids who can swallow capsules...this is definitely not suited for chewing.

If I was rating these for myself I would give them a 1, but my twin boys (aged 4) LOVE them! We call them "brainy pills" and they ask for them daily. They bite the tail off the fish, suck all the fish oil out and then sometimes swallow the capsule, or spit it out. I tried one and gagged - it is very much an individual thing & the chances are you won't know until you try them! My daughter also takes chewable fish oil but prefers a different brand to this.

I purchased O-mega3 Bursts because my 7yrold Son was finding it difficult to concentrate, his behaviour could be aggressive & he could become easily frustrated. After taking the O-Mega 3 Bursts for over 1 month now, family members, his teacher & his soccer coach have all commented. He is not aggressive, he is able to concentrate on his schoolwork & follow instructions with no problems. The price of this product is terrific & I recommend these to parents who have kids with concentration & behaviour issues.

My daughter is a fussy eater so I decided to get these as she wasn't getting omega 3 in her diet. She loves them! They're considered a treat because of their butterscotch flavour, there's not even a hint of fishiness about them. I highly recommend them.
