Nutra-Life Thermo Trim Max Liquid Carnitine is a high quality formula providing pharmaceutical grade Levocarnitine in a liquid form for maximum absorption and utilisation. Levocarnitine is an amino acid, the primary transporter of long chain fatty acids through the mitochondrial membrane, where fat is burned to produce energy. High levels of available Levocarnitine increase the rate at which fat is burned.

Levocarnitine is a trimethylated amino acid, essential for the transport and transformation of fatty acids into energy for muscular activity. This transformation, which produces Co-enzyme A, occurs in the mitochondria.
Most of the 1.2 micromoles of Levocarnitine per kg of body weight per day are synthesized from the essential amino acids lysine and methionine, with Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Niacin and Iron. Only Levocarnitine is biologically active. Supplementing with Levocarnitine assists natural fat metabolism and muscular performance. If used in this situation it should be discontinued for one week each month.
Thermo-Trim Max Liquid Carnitine is specially formulated to provide 500mg of Levocarnitine per 10ml in a flavoured aqueous base which is an essential fat mobilising amino acid. Panthothenic Acid as Calcium pantothenate is also included to improve utilisation of Levocarnitine.

Adults: Take 2-3 servings daily or as directed.
Generally L-Carnitine is well tolerated when used within recommended dosage limits. Adult intakes of approximately 5g/day (by an adult) may cause diarrhoea or fish odour syndrome in some users.
