Heartburn / Reflux Info
“Following the Jewish tradition, a dispenser of schmaltz (liquid chicken fat) is kept on the table to give the vampires heartburn if they get through the garlic defense.”
Calvin Trillin
Heartburn, alternatively known as pyrosis, cardialgia, or acid indigestion, is a burning sensation in the chest, just behind the breastbone. The pain often rises in the chest and may move to the neck, throat, or jaw.
Heartburn is usually associated with regurgitation of gastric acid (gastric reflux) which is the major symptom of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It may also be a symptom of ischemic heart disease, though this is true for only a small minority of those experiencing heartburn.
Heartburn can be caused by several conditions and a preliminary diagnosis of GERD is based on additional signs and symptoms. The chest pain caused by GERD has a distinct 'burning' sensation, occurs after eating or at night, and worsens when a person lies down or bends over.
It also is common in pregnant women, and may be triggered by consuming food in large quantities, or specific foods containing certain spices, high fat content, or high acid content.
Heartburn or chest pain after eating or drinking and combined with difficulty swallowing may indicate oesophageal spasms.
There are natural health remedies available that may alleviate these symptoms.
Usually a shot glass with a pinch of baking powder does the trick of curbing the stomach and heartburn pain associated with reflux.
Ginger tea and peppermint tea have been known to confer some relief for people suffering from heartburn.
Aloe vera juice, Marshmallow, hoheria, slippery elm powder, liquorice root and bladderwrack are all great natural health remedies.

It's working for sure
I was told by my Naturopath to buy this product to improve my digestion. It definitely helped a lot resulting less bloating and less indigestion. Now I am no longer afraid of eating.

Amazing
I've tried similar but this is the best one by far. I'm as intolerant as you can get without being allergic and I'm able to eat my favourite veggie chow mein with these and feel nothing more than a little bloated.
