Lifestream Bowel Biotics with Digestive Enzymes is a unique natural fibre formula with enzymes, herbs, prebiotics and probiotics. It contains natural psyllium husks to aid regular bowel movements. When used as part of a healthy diet made up of a variety of foods, it supports:

 

  • Bowel regularity
  • The nutrient absorption process
  • Maintenance of healthy intestinal bacteria

 

Bowel Biotics Fibre + Enzymes is 100% natural and contains no added flavours or sweeteners.

 

 

  • It is recommended to increase water intake when taking additional dietary fibre.
  • We recommend starting with a low dose and building up gradually to suit the individual.
  • If you are taking any prescribed medications we recommend you check with your healthcare professional before taking supplements.

 

Adults: 2 level teaspoons (5g), 1-2 times daily.

Children 6-12 years: 1 level teaspoon (2.5g), 1-2 times daily.

Mix into large glass of water or juice, stir well and consume immediately. Follow with another glass of water or juice. Increase water intake while taking additional dietary fibre. Best taken ½ hour before or after food. It is recommended to start with a low dose and build up gradually to suit.

This product is brilliant in regulating bowel habit. It is best to drink it straight down as it forms a gelified substance if left to sit for a while, but well worth the money spent. I add a bit of lime juice to it to make it more palatable. I suffer from haemorrhoids and I find that this promotes gentle evacuation which in turn stops the bleeding, irritation and feeling of incompleteness.

This product works and I really wanted to love it but I can't handle the texture. I thought it might be a powder but rather is small husks and really not something I want to take. I do think this product is great though in that it has the pre and pro biotics included.

I have had terrible trouble with constipation for nearly a decade, related to medication, inadequate dietary fiber intake and a sedentary lifestyle. Since taking 2 teaspoons of bowel biotics with digestive enzymes each day, I have gone from having a painful constipated bowel motion every 4 days, to having a pain free bowel motion every day. These bowel biotics are an essential in my cupboard!!

I have been using this product now for some time and find it excellent. I have diverticulitis and it is important to keep things moving smoothly - this product really helps produce good bowel motions daily.

I feel like the girl who couldnt do without her Mum deodorant ad on years ago, I have gone through my first packet of bowel biotics, and it has stablised me to the point where I can now go out with confidence knowing I am not going to have an accident, and have to find a loo quickly. it certainly bulks things up well and I have to admit to having my first decent stool production for many years. have had minimal success with dr,s preion for movicol, but really not half as successful.
