Hand Cream

Most regular hand creams are filled with ingredients like fragrances and preservatives that can dry out the skin and could lead to ageing skin prematurely. When you use a more natural-based hand cream, you are feeding your skin nourishing and enriching ingredients that hydrate and maintain balance, so your skin remains smooth and supple.

Choosing the perfect hand cream for yourself is easier with our range of natural beauty products below.

Hand Cream Benefits

It’s no wonder the hands are the first place to show signs of ageing. Our hands get a bit of a rough deal and are often neglected. They are constantly exposed to the weather elements, office air-conditioning and household cleaning. For a little bit of TLC, natural hand creams may provide relief from dryness and also protect your skin with formulations made with soothing, pure ingredients.

Complete your natural body care routine with a natural body lotion that will treat your skin to replenishing moisture.

A friend gave this product for my birthday, and I simply LOVE it. Its fragrance is so subtle but beautiful. I have now bought two more as gifts. It makes a great gift for your overseas family and friends.

  • Great makeup primer

    star

Have used this as a hand cream then came across a blog post where someone was using it as a makeup primer. First day I wore it under my makeup I got so many comments from work colleagues asking me why my skin was glowing. I have pretty good skin anyway but love the extra glow it gives my 47 years old skin. It is thick so you need to apply a small amount then leave for 5 minutes to absorb. Google "Weleda skin food as primer."

  • Started using as a cold cream

    star

I've been having a lot of trouble with the skin on my face peeling. It doesn't feel irritated or anything - it's just peeling. After doing a lot of research, I decided that a good, old-fashioned cold cream (an emulsion containing water, oils and beeswax) might be the answer. Weleda apparently has a cold cream, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere, and the traditional cold creams contain mineral oil and other not-so-appealing ingredients. I looked up the ingredients of Skin Food, and it has all of the characteristics of a cold cream, using natural healing ingredients, so I'm now cleansing with it, and then putting it on as a moisturiser. Also, cutting out all the things I was doing that were dehydrating my skin. We shall see... I'll write an update after a month of using it in this way.
