  • very good

This product is fantastic. It helps me a lot. I take it first thing in the morning. It helps me to be more regular and I have hardly any stomachs cramps as a result of coeliac disease.

  • Basically cured my irritable bowel syndrome

I wish this stuff was available 50 years ago. I'm also adding inulin to stir-fired vegetables. I think they are both contributing to my new gut health.

  • Could be better...

I tried Slippery Elm from bio balance for the first time a couple months back and since I didn't know what slippery elm should be like I thought it was ok. It didn't turn into a smooth texture at all, but more of a frothy texture with a lot of grit in it. I had expected a much smoother texture. It was not particularly easy to swallow due to the texture being gritty. But it did mix nicely into my porridge in the morning. And it did help with some of my bowel problems although not as much as I had hoped. But when this particular product went out of stock I ended up trying the Lotus brand (which unfortunately is not sold by healthpost). I have to say that Lotus brand is much better! It turns into a nice smooth texture and is much easier to drink without all the grit. It also helped a lot more with my bowel problems. So after trying the Lotus brand, I would not really recommend this bio balance brand, even though it is certified organic. It is not as effective as the Lotus brand. But that is just my personal experience. It may be very good for other people.
