Wonderful gently cleansing shampoo by trustworthy Weleda! However- if you have been using silicone conditioners - ie: dimethicone, amodimethicone, cyclomethicone-basically anything ending with cone and basically in EVERY conventional conditioner you are going to need a harsh sulphate to strip it out. Otherwise your hair will feel like straw. This product wont strip out silicones. Its not harsh enough. Its taken me months to get silicones out of my hair without using sulphates (which damage my scalp). And they are in everything! Hair care touted as organic, vegan still have silicones and sulphates listed in their tiny nearly unreadable ingredient lists. Its crazy!! We put this slippery rubbish on our hair and then need super duper \"paint\" strippers to strip it out again.\nThis shampoo is LOVELY

I use a small amount, not a lot of lather but cleanses my hair perfectly. Smells fresh. And rinses out easily. Along with the conditioner my hair feel so much healthier. Love these products

I love this shampoo. I have oily curly hair and have tried many different shampoos over the years. Most shampoos strip my hair so bad it’s frizzy for a few days after washing, straw like and not nice to touch. This one leaves my hair moisturised and not stripped of natural oils. It will still form nice curls the day it’s washed. So gentle but does the job well. Love Weleda

I love Weleda products in general. However, this shampoo really disappointed me, as it does not do what it says. It makes my hair matted and feeling like straw, pretty much instantly, while washing it. I have to use conditioner or it ends up a knotted mess.

I love the integrity of Weleda products, but this shampoo is just okay for my long curly hair. Leaves it tangled and hay-like, not moisturised. Smells divine though.

This took me a while to work this product out. I have long hair, fine but lots of it, dry ends, and requiring a wash every 2 days due to scalp oiliness. The shampoo DOES NOT FOAM, and using more than a moderate amount will make your hair 'straw like', and heavy. Best to wet hair very thoroughly, massage a small/moderate amount to start with VERY WELL through scalp and ends (this can feel difficult if you're not used to a non-foaming shampoo), and leave on for a minute to clean. I've ended up getting the conditioner too as they really do work best together - at least for long/dry ended hair. I've used it for a good week now and my hair is super soft, not weighed down, and amazingly, my Kate-Middleton-type blow wave and curl lasts all the way to my next wash - even without styling product, and even in humid, rainy Auckland weather! Impressed. I'll keep using this and see.

I bought this shampoo after reading all the good reviews and I'm absolutely satisfied with it. My hair is more moisturized after washing and drying (compared to usual condition) and it feels very good.

I have hair as dry as a crisp due to a health condition, but I find this shampoo gives it a softness, shine and looks and feels healthier! The best part is that I don't have to use conditioner and yet my hair looks and feels conditioned. I've never met a shampoo quite like it.

After trying my friends Weleda Oat replenishing Shampoo, I bought my own, because it nourished my dry hair and made it look healthy and shiny again. Highly rcommended!
