Description
Absolute Essential Clove Bud (Organic) has stimulating dynamic properties that can be used to support an atmosphere of focus and complement assertiveness. It also has cleansing qualities to aid healthy gums and calming properties to support its use in the management of tooth distress. 

When diffused during ills and chills season, it may aid in air cleansing and purifying.

The clove tree is an evergreen that grows up to 8–12 metres tall with large leaves and crimson flowers. They are native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia. Cloves have a rich and fascinating history as a globally traded spice. It has a long and celebrated history for supporting the teeth and gums.

Fragrance notes:
The aroma of clove is heady, deep and complex. Spicy, woody, resinous, oily and weedy with a delicate hint of sweet rancid cinnamon.

Blends well with:
Orange Sweet, Cedarwood Atlas, and all Eucalyptus oils.
Ingredients

100% pure Eugenia caryophyllata (distilled bud)

Naturally occurring constituents: Eugenol, Eugenyl acetate, beta-Caryophyllene, alpha-Humulene.
Directions

For topical use: Blend with a carrier oil before applying to the skin, 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil (i.e. almond, apricot, jojoba.)

For diffuser or vaporiser:Add 4-8 drops of essential oil as per instructions of device.

Oral Health:Clove Bud can be blended in the following ways: Tooth comfort 1 drop to 1ml of Sweet Almond oil and rub on the gum (adults only); 1-2 drops to a bowl of hot water, soak a small towel, wring out and place on the cheek. Replace the towel as required. Mouthwash - 1 drop of clove bud to water or existing mouthwash, stir and use 3-4 times a day in acute situations (adults only).

Air Antiseptic:Add 5 drops of clove oil daily to a diffuser as an air antiseptic in a sickroom or diffuse a few drops into your living or working space when there are ills and chills about. If the aroma is too strong, blend with pleasant smelling oils such as Spruce or Lavender.

Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional. 
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
