Much ado about nothing
I have never come across a more complicated way to colour hair...put aside a whole day...6 hours (I left it for) to activate and then after 4 hours applied, my greys are still visible. Very thick and hard to apply...then dries like hard mud. Just a nightmare...my hair also smells like tea? Not the worst smell, but also not the most pleasant..only plus is more than enough "stuff" in packet to dye hair twice...if you can work out the ratios and can be bothered.
SUPPLIER RESPONSE: Thank you for your review, but first of all, thank you for giving yourself the opportunity to have a healthier life. We understand that you might have had a slightly turbulent first experience, however we encourage you to give it another chance. The lengthy activation time for grey coverage is something that unfortunately is necessary when working with 100% Organic botanicals. When we step away from chemicals it almost always translates to time. After a while, once you have done it a few times it becomes second nature and the time is no longer an issue. There is something you mentioned that we believe is related to the underperformance of the grey coverage "Very thick and hard to apply...then dries like hard mud." We rely on fluid/moisture to bridge the pigment between the paste and the hair, that is why it is important to have the right consistency (like yoghurt) so the paste is pliable and coats the hair aiding the transfer of the dye; when it is too dry then the bridge is blocked. Please try again with the rest of the package, make it a little more moist and make sure to use a shower cap and a towel to keep it warm. I’m sure you will see a better result. Make sure to use that time to pamper yourself and give yourself the time you deserve.
