Golden Fields Dandelion Coffee is made from roasted organic dandelion roots. Dandelion coffee helps combat liver problems, kidney problems and digestion problems. Dandelion is a mild natural laxative, a constipation remedy, a blood purifier, and an ideal diuretic due to its richness in minerals (it contains potassium, calcium, sodium, also phosphorous, iron, nickel, cobalt, tin, copper and zinc).
Golden Fields Dandelion Coffee is commercially grown on certified organic farms in New Zealand. Dandelion is a difficult plant to grow commercially - it is labour intensive process, which explains the price.
Sachets: 1 sachet per cup, use preheated cup, pour boiling water, cover, infuse 5-10 minutes, squeeze sachet with teaspoon and stir.
Granules: 1 teaspoon loose granules per cup, or 15 grams per litre, infuse 5-10 minutes or simmer 1 minute.
For a latte (cow or soy milk), a stronger brew may be necessary.

Ground dandelion root (taraxacum officinale)
Roasted barley malt (not more than 18%)

More a tea than a coffee

I really want to like this since it is a NZ made product but I find the taste very weak for a dandelion 'coffee'. If you are looking for a tea then this is for you. I have mixed mine with other dandelion coffees and that seems ok.

Sorry but I expected more. This is the third brand of Dandelion Coffee I have had and by far the least satisfying. The flavour profile is quite bitter and more of a tea. Not an enjoyable experience. I'll get through the supply begrudgingly simply because I hate waste; otherwise I would take great delight in composting the lot.

Love these dandelion grounds

My go to dandelion grounds -for that healthy caffeine free night time beverage. I often feel like a coffee in the evening and this gives that same satisfying warming taste that coffee gives, but without the caffeine - so I can sleep! Please keep this in stock!

The nicest taste! Great to mix with regular coffee.

I like mixing 50:50 this in my plunger with ground coffee. I get the coffee taste without the stomach upset of a standard brew. I tried cheaper brands but they tasted awful - dusty, bitter, watery. I keep returning to the Golden Fields brand as it has the nicest richest taste!

Great healthy coffee / tea alternative

I have found these bags to be a delicious alternative to coffee for those looking for a caffeine free drink, with a bit more flavour than your "normal" herbal teas. I used to drink black coffee before so did not find these bitter at all, but a light malty drink - highly recommended for anyone looking to reduce the load on their liver

Excellent product

I used to laboriously make my own dandelion coffee but I'm so enjoying this product with its hint of barley and instead of taxing my liver, I'm helping it. Also I get to enjoy my gorgeous dandelion plants in the ground...a win/win I'd say
