Thanks for taking part in In Our Nature NZ. Want to learn more about our sustainability progress?
Learn how we’re caring for people and planet through our Nature Trust and sustainability commitments.

Thanks to the loyal support of our customers, we’ve been able to make a substantial commitment to restoring biodiversity in our internationally significant backyard of Golden Bay.

With help from our team and community, we’re committed to championing conservation, planting thousands of trees, contributing to rescuing stranded whales alongside Project Jonah, setting-up a predator free ecosanctuary for seabirds, and having a lot of fun along the way.

You – quite rightly - expect us to act responsibly, and this is reflected in our efforts to be Certified Zero Carbon and a Living Wage Employer, and we’re doing everything we can to minimise waste.

To further support you in making a positive impact with your choices, our Mindful Brands and Mindful Values help you choose ethical brands that share your values.

You could say we’re pioneers in sustainable values, as we’ve been investing in protecting our environment and community since day one. So, we’re very excited to be a finalist in two categories of this year’s Sustainable Business Awards that recognise businesses like ours who are committed to meaningful change for people and planet.

HealthPost Nature Trust

HealthPost Nature Trust was established in 2017 to create significant projects that have real impact on the conservation values of Farewell Spit, Wharariki, and surrounding areas. The key focus of the Trust is to help reintroduce native species and plantings in this internationally recognised area significant for its wetlands, stunning natural landscapes, and habitats for vulnerable wildlife.

We’re proud to be a significant funder and driving force for restoration efforts that enhance biodiversity in the area and allow threatened species to flourish, committing a minimum of $100,000 every year from operating profits.

In partnership with Manawhenua ki Mohua, Department of Conservation, and supporting volunteers HealthPost Nature Trust has built a predator-fenced Wharariki Ecosanctuary at Cape Farewell and the Te Whare Whakatā field station at Farewell Spit for conservation activities.

Putting nature and people first

Being able to lead the way in conservation and community projects and encouraging others to do the same is important work only made possible with your support.

Collective commitment leads to meaningful change, so our mission is to make real tangible sustainable differences that will help protect and regenerate our natural environment. It’s in our nature New Zealand.

Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us spread the word. The more people we can help to embark on or further their sustainable journey, the better our world will be for everyone.
