Description
Matakana Superfoods Antrodia Mushroom: Antrodia is a mushroom species which can support liver health, immune function and immune defences. Antrodia cinnamomea is a popular mushroom species due to its various health supporting properties.
It belongs to phylum basidiomycetes, family polyporaceae, and genus antrodia. This fungus grows at an extremely slow pace on the inner cavity of a native tree called cinnamomum kanehirai hayata (also known as “ruby in the forest”.
Matakana Superfoods antrodia is processed using dual extraction, cold water technology to ensure the bioavailability of key compounds from the fruiting body. A ratio of around 10 kg of dried mushroom is used to produce 1 kg of bioactive antrodia powder.
Compared with other general extraction technology, the use of low-temperature wall breaking + fractional precipitation technology, ensures the nutrients and various biological activities of this mushroom are retained.
