Description
Absolute Essential Vanilla 45% (Organic) has a rich, sweet aroma of vanilla. It is one of the most familiar of all the essential oils. It has an alluring, comforting aroma that can be used to help create a warm atmosphere of security to encourage the expression of deeply felt emotions, frustrations and hidden sensuality. 

The steady, restorative tones can also be used to create an atmosphere for emotional balance when challenges loom large.

This is a pure alcohol extract with 45% vanilla for aromatherapy use. Household vanilla is normally created at 0.5% concentration.

Vanilla comes from the seed pods of an orchid flower of the genus Vanilla, and is native to Central and South America and the Caribbean. The flower, which lasts for less than a day, is pollinated by hand. 

Fragrance notes:
A sweet, warm and exotic scent. Reminiscent of freshly baked cookies and cream.

Blends well with:
Mandarin, sandalwood, rose & tonka bean.
Ingredients

Vanilla planifolia (alcohol extraction, pods, Madagascar)

Naturally occurring constituents: Vanillin, Vanillic acid, para-Hydroxybenzoic aldehyde, para-Hydroxybenzoic acid.
Directions

For topical use: Blend with a carrier oil before applying to the skin, 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil (i.e. almond, apricot, jojoba.)

For diffuser or vaporiser: Add 4-8 drops of essential oil as per instructions of device.

Comfort: Add 5 drops to a diffuser or mix in bath water. Vanilla has a warm, sweet scent that can be used for tense emotions. Add 5 drops to a diffuser or mix in bath water and feel the senses relax.

Positive outlook: 5 drops and 5 drops of Lavender True to a diffuser. With its uplifting, comforting tones vanilla is good company when you feel you need a pick-me-up. Diffuse 5 drops of vanilla 45%, add to a bath or wear as a perfume.
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional. 
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
