Description
Dolphin Clinic Grapefruit Pure Essential Oil is useful for a wonderful pick-me-up and is mentally uplifting. Grapefruit is an excellent air refresher with an invigorating scent. Grapefruit is toning and cleansing for the skin and supports a healthy skin tone, circulation, and a clear head.

Directions

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10mls of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

An uplifting blend for your vaporiser or diffuser is 3 drops grapefruit, 3 drops lavender and 2 drops lemon. 
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • Citrus oils are slightly photo-sensitising so avoid sunlight after application to the skin.
  • Should not be used by people with citrus allergies.
  • May irritate the skin if used in the bath or in combination with hot water. Dilute in milk first if using in the bath.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid using in the sun.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
