Description
Nature’s Sunshine Hydrated Bentonite is made using micro-fine, USP-grade bentonite which is hydrated by suspending the clay in purified water. Bentonite, also known as Montmorillonite, is a natural clay derived from volcanic ash from Redmond, Utah, USA.
Bentonite is negatively charged having an attracting and binding effect e.g. the clay is very "adsorbent", meaning substances adsorb (stick to or adhere) to the outside of its surface/structure.
Bentonite is known to have an abundance of minerals, including calcium, magnesium, silica, sodium, copper, iron and potassium. Bentonite is used to support healthy bowel function and can be used as a colon cleanser.
